Guitar Club: Will meet today after school
7th & 8th Grade Drama Club: Will meet today after school in the 1st floor common area.
Fuel Up to play 60 will be hosting a dodge ball tournament today after school. You must sign up online in order to attend. Come dressed and ready to have some fun with us! Please be ready to take the late bus home or arrange for a ride at 4:00. We hope staff will play with us, too! It will be a fun way to get your 60 minutes of daily physical activity!
5th Grade Fun Night: Tonight is 5th Grade Fun Night! The date is this Friday. The time is 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cost for entry is $4.00 - $3.00 with a Falcon Card
Student Council Food Drive: The food drive continues through today. Items will be donated to the Community Center to benefit people in need in our community. Thank you to all who contribute!
Yearbook Club: Will meet directly after school on Tuesday, April 3rd, in Mrs. Beckwith's room
A reminder to all GT art students: Your next GT Art meeting will be held during lunch in the library on Tuesday, April 10th. Please bring all of your project work to this meeting.
Band and Chorus News:
There is no wind ensemble rehearsal Friday morning this week. Please bring all music on Monday morning to plan for our next concert band festival.
5th Grade Band News: Beginning the week of March 26: Sectional classes begin again. Trumpets on Monday, Clarinets and Saxophones on Wednesday, Percussion, Flute and Trombone on Fridays.
Our next full band classes will be on the following dates: Monday, April 30th, Monday, May 7th, and Monday May 14th. Please mark your calendars!
Our final concert of the year will be All City Band at the WHS gymnasium on Tuesday, May 15th @ 7 p.m. Please note the location!
We will also have two parades (music to be memorized): Memorial Day (May 28) and Together Days (June 2).
April 4- 8th Grade Band and WHS Bands Spring Concert. 8th Graders will perform at 7 p.m. and are expected to stay for the remainder of the concert. More information to follow via email.

Laptop News: If you were not able to attend the MLTI meeting and you are a parent of a 7th grade student who has not attended aprevious meeting, a video has been posted on the WMS website (westbrookschools.org) that you will be required to watch. After watching the video, please call the main office at 854-0830 to speak with Principal Wood regarding the video.
Spring sports officially start next week. A reminder that if all your paperwork is not turned in and you do not have an updated physical on file, you WILL NOT be allowed to try out or participate in any way! Everyone who has signed up and is missing either of these items has been notified.
