Sports' Results:

The 8th grade boys’ baseball team lost to a very talented Scarborough Middle School team on Tuesday evening, 15-6. Westbrook jumped out to an early lead in this one led offensively by Reid Garber, Garren Post, Bronson Damon, Alec Hodgkins and Chris Pullman. Bronson Damon, Alec Hodgkins and Zack Davis pitched admirably in the effort. Westbrook now sits at 5-2 with their final two games at home, Tuesday and Thursday of next week.

The 7th grade baseball team broke open a close game at home on Tuesday with a 10 run fifth inning, leading to a 11-1 victory against Scarborough Tuesday.  Pitching a great game for Westbrook was Quincy Seavey, with Alex Bean working a perfect inning to finish up.  Getting hits for the Falcons were:  Carson Dow, Aidan Pecoraro, Carter Dow, Ben Eugley, Ryan Stone, Dominic Brunner, and Steven White.  The Boys have a 5-1 record, and their next game is against the only team to beat them up to this point, Bonny Eagle, on Friday.

Good luck boys!

Girls’ lacrosse was defeated by the Biddeford tigers with a score of 7 to 5. Everyone played hard with determination and sportsmanship. Goals were scored by Morgan Shibles, Morgan Pednault, Lily Ranco and Natalie LaBrie. Great job ladies!

Westbrook Boys’ Lacrosse lost to Biddeford by the score of 17-1. Luke Morrison and Tristan Rost showed a lot of hustle and tried to get the energy up for Westbrook.
