This includes the 8th grade Promotion video that is shown in the auditorium the night of the promotion ceremony. The 7th grade baseball team avenged their only loss of the season with a convincing 16-2 victory over Bonny Eagle. Pitching a great game for Westbrook were Carter Dow and Ben Eugley. Getting hits for the Falcons were: Quincy Seavey, Carter Dow, Dominic Brunner, Steven White, Carson Dow and Ryan Franceschi. Carter Dow's hit was a monster 3 run home run, and he also stole home to complete a total team win for Westbrook. The boys have a record of 6-1, and their next game is at home against Kennebunk on Thursday.
The 8th Grade Boys Baseball team improved to 6-2 on Tuesday night with a thrilling 7-6 walk-off win in the bottom of the 7th. Bronson Damon pitched well in this one and came around to score the game winning run on an Ayden Macwhinnie base hit. Chris Kullman earned the victory in this one while also adding highlight reel defensive plays at shortstop. The boys conclude their season Thursday at Westbrook High School vs. South Portland.
