Student Council will have its celebration today after school in Mrs. Boynton’s room.

Attention GT Art students: there is a brief GT Art meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at lunch outside of the office. Please attend this meeting and pick up your artwork and retrieve your art materials.
Fuel Up to Play 60 will be hosting a 6th grade event today called the Get Up and Get Active Event! Team Acadia and Team Black Bear will compete against each other during Intervention time. Students - please sign up with your homeroom teacher for an event to participate in, and be sure to wear sneakers and your team colors: Acadia is green and Black Bear is yellow! Thursday the 7th grade teams will compete during intervention in the 7th grade show down! Team Dirigo is blue and Team Sebago is yellow, so be sure to wear your team colors and sneakers on Thursday! Any staff helping out are encouraged to wear their Fuel Up t-shirts!
Upcoming Field Trips: Monday, June 11th - 7th Grade Team Dirigo to Portland Waterfront; Wednesday, June 13th - Leadership Club to Funtown; Friday, June 15th – 7th Grade Team Sebago to Portland Waterfront;Tuesday, June 19th, 6th Grade to Range Pond State Park - Make sure your student turns in their permission slip for their field trips well in advance. Leadership Club Pot Luck Banquet: Thursday, June 14th, @ 6:00 p.m. in Mr. Moulen’s room. Also, a reminder that our field trip is this Wednesday, if you plan on attending, your permission slip has to be in by tomorrow!!
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 20, at 6:00 p.m. Letters are being sent home with 8th grade students and emailed home to parents. Honors assemblies for other grade levels are as follows: 5th Grade: June 19th @ 8:00 a.m.; 6th Grade: June 20th @ 8:00 a.m.; 7th Grade: June 19th @ 10:00 a.m.

Attention all 8th grade students: Any 8th grader interested in marching band or color guard should come check out our rehearsals at the high school in the band room on June 12th and June 14th from 6-8 p.m. These are open to all 8th grade students. Please see Mrs. Smith if you have questions!

Wiffleball: Will meet again today after school with Ms. Mawhinney
Students who will be in grades 6-8 NEXT school year and are interested in playing a sport in the fall should check their emails for an electronic sign-up form. Please be sure to look at what grades can participate in each sport before you click on your choice. Reminder that all students must have the required paperwork and proof of a physical BEFORE they will be allowed to participate in any sport. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Foye.
