Good Morning!

The 5th and 6th grade math team students will be leaving WMS at 8:45 a.m. to go into the Holiday Inn by the Bay. They should be back around 12:15 p.m. (by 12:30 p.m. at the latest).

 

The 7th and 8th grade math team students will be leaving WMS (via the PAC entrance) at 2:30 p.m. to go into the Holiday Inn by the Bay. They should be back around 5:30 p.m.

 

6th through 8th Grade Math Team: No Practice the last week before Christmas Break AND No Practice the first week back from break. See you again the week of January 7th.

 

Team Black Bear:  Will be on a field trip to Augusta today.

 

Team Acadia:  Will be going on their field trip on Thursday, December 20th, and Friday, December 21st. 

 

Robotics Club: Will meet today after school in Mr. Moulen's room.

 

 Drama Club: Today will be Off stage crew and Alien and Pig performances.

 

Art Club:  Will meet again today after school with Mrs. Jacobs 

 

All Fall Pawsitive Club members will meet today after school in Ms. Trace's room to walk to the Animal Refuge League. Please be sure to have a ride home at 4 pm or plan to take the late bus.

 

Builders Club will be meeting today and tomorrow after school.  Please meet in the 1st floor common area.

 

The Leadership Club is sponsoring our second annual Candy Cane Sales. Sales will take place in the cafeteria and in the main lobby before homeroom each morning next week. Canes are 2 for $1.00 or 5 for $2.00. You can purchase for yourself or for a friend.

 

Holiday Spirit Days:  Monday, December 17th:  Pajama Pants Day, Tuesday, December 18th:  Dress like a favorite Holiday Character, Wednesday, December 19th:  Holiday Hat Day, Thursday, December 20th:  Flannel Frenzy, Friday, December 21st:  Ugly Sweater Day

Grade 5 winter concert is Tuesday, December 18th @ 7 p.m.

 

Builders Club is collecting Winter Gloves for the Falcon's Nest November 26 through December 20th. Drop off a pair of gloves to Mrs Boucher in Room 208 or Mrs Gaudreau in the Guidance office. For every pair of gloves donated your name will be entered into a raffle to win a Westbrook themed prize. Prizes will be awarded on December 20th.

Governor Paul R. LePage has directed the United States flag and the State of Maine flag be flown at half-staff immediately for 30 days to honor the life and memory of President George H.W. Bush, the forty-first President of the United States
