Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences: Please click on the link below for the letter regarding our spring conference dates and times. If you have received a letter in the mail regarding conferences, your child's core classroom teacher(s) have requested to meet with you. Please fill out the form and return it to Mrs. Foye in the main office by this Monday, March 18th, so that we may schedule your conference before opening up our online sign-ups to all parents. Hey everyone!! It's that time of year for the Penny Drive! March 18th- April 5th If you are new to the school, the Penny Drive is a 3 week fundraiser where homerooms collect money that will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society to help children and adults with blood cancers. It's called a "Penny" drive but kids are encouraged to bring any type of change or cash in to donate. The homeroom that donates the most money in the school will receive a special lunch brought to us by Olive Garden! It's always awesome!
Lincoln Peirce, author of Big Nate, is speaking to WMS on April 2! All 5th-8th grade students will be attending this awesome event! Mr. Peirce (pronounced “purse”) will be signing books at the end of his talk. One book per student, please. The 7th and 8th grade Concert Bands will be adding a performance to the calendar at the Maine Band Director’s Association Concert Band Festival. Please pencil in a date of: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3rd. It is our hope to perform as early as possible on this day to evening activities can still be attended. We need everyone for this performance, so please let Mrs. Smith know this week if you have a conflict.
