Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences: Our spring conferences are scheduled for today from 11 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and again on Thursday, April 25th, from 3:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m. Our teachers primarily use spring conferences as a way to connect with families of students that they feel would benefit from a conference at this time of year. Letters were mailed home to priority students at the beginning of March. If you did not receive a letter, but would still like to meet with your child's team of teachers, please click here to schedule your child's conference.  PTCFast Scheduler is back up and running!!

 

Reminder - Students will be released at 10:30 a.m. today because of Parent/Teacher conferences. 

 

emPowerME Assessment Testing:  7th grade continues today.  Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest and a healthy breakfast to prepare for testing.

 

Leadership Club:  Will meet next Monday after school with Mr. Moulen.  Reminder that our NYC trip is fast approaching.  Our final meeting is next Thursday, April 11th, at 6:00 p.m. to finalize plans.  This is a mandatory meeting!!

 

5th Grade Math Team:  Will meet on Monday after school with Mrs. Bradbury

 

6th Grade Honors Band:   Please meet in the hallway outside C125 this morning directly after announcements for your yearbook picture.

 

7th & 8th Grade Honors Band: please meet in the hallway outside C125 on Monday morning directly after announcements for your yearbook picture.

 

Yearbook Club: Will meet on Tuesday after school. Even if you can’t stay the whole time, stop by to be included in the yearbook picture.

 

Builders Club members please see email from Mrs Boucher about important upcoming dates.

 

Builders Club is sponsoring a Food  Drive to support the Falcon’s Nest on April 4th. Donations can be dropped off in Mrs Boucher’s room and boxes will be set up in lobby during Parent/Teacher Conferences.

The Locker Project has been assisting with the Falcon’s Nest (food pantry), and we are excited to announce they will be setting up a  FREE fresh produce table from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the April 4th parent teacher workshop. Stop by the table to learn more about the Falcon’s Nest, get a tour, and get some food.  Any questions don’t hesitate to contact Amie Boucher at 854-0830.

 

MineCraft:    There is no MineCraft after school tomorrow.  The next Learn to Mod in MineCraft Club will start after April vacation on Friday, April 26th. Students who are interested may stop by the office or Mr. Moulen’s room for a flier and permission form. 

 

Yearbook Club: Will meet on Tuesday after school. Even if you can’t stay the whole time, stop by to be included in the yearbook picture.

 

Student Council Penny Drive:  Hey everyone!! It's that time of year for the Penny Drive! March 18th- April 5th If you are new to the school, the Penny Drive is a 3 week fundraiser where homerooms collect money that will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society to help children and adults with blood cancers. It's called a "Penny" drive but kids are encouraged to bring any type of change or cash in to donate. The homeroom that donates the most money in the school will receive a special lunch brought to us by Olive Garden! It's always awesome!

Band and Chorus Info: 

 

Band and Chorus Students if you are in need of concert clothes for upcoming concerts, Please see Mrs Boucher in room 208. She may be able to assist.

 

5th Grade Band: Beginning the week of 3/25, band students will have sectionals, instead of full band, on the following days: Trombone/Flute (MONDAY); Clarinet/Saxophone (WEDNESDAY); Trumpet/Percussion (FRIDAY) **Please maintain your music class day for the rest of the year! Beckwith/Larose (MONDAYS), Fortin/Mawhinney (TUESDAYS), Bradbury/Freund (THURSDAYS), Pecoraro/Trace (FRIDAYS

 

Attention 7th and 8th grade Band Students:  The concert band festival schedule has been set!  

 

7th Grade: The 7th Grade Concert Band will be performing on THURSDAY, APRIL 4th.  The performance time is 12:00 p.m. and doors will closed 5 minutes before performance time.  Performance to this festival is a required part of the class.  Please be on the lookout for some more important details in an email from Mrs. Smith.  

 

MLTI Laptop Video:  For those parents who were not able to attend the laptop meeting, please click on the parent resource tab on our home page and click on WMS Laptop Meeting Video.  After watching the video, please call us so that you can check in with Principal Wood regarding the video.
