Good Morning!   Today is a Blue Day ~ 1:30 p.m. early release

Yearbook sales are closed for this year. IF LifeTouch sends extra books we will announce a raffle after all ordered yearbooks are handed out at the very end of the year.

 

Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences: Our next spring conference is scheduled for tomorrow from 3:00 p.m - 6:00 p.m. Our teachers primarily use spring conferences as a way to connect with families of students that they feel would benefit from a conference at this time of year. Letters were mailed home to priority students at the beginning of March. If you did not receive a letter, but would still like to meet with your child's team of teachers, please click here to schedule your child's conference.

 

Big Brothers/Big Sisters:  Will meet today after school in the library 

 

8th Grade Math Team:  Will meet tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. with Mrs. Urban.  Please get a permission slip from Ms. Urban’s door and bring it back signed this week.

 

Drama Club:  Tomorrow drama rehearsal is for the Crew only - Cast should go home and learn lines.

 

GT Art:  GT Art will meet this week during flex block in the cafeteria. Grades 5 & 6 will meet tomorrow.  There will be a special guest artist leading the workshops. Students, please bring your sketchbooks for Ms. Somerville to collect.

 

Builder’s Club continues to sell homemade hair scrunchies and WMS bracelets April 22-26 during lunches to benefit the March of Dimes

 

Builder's Club:  Will be meeting tomorrow after school in Mrs. Boucher's room.

 

Fuel Up to Play 60:  The Fuel Up to Play 60 will meet Friday morning at 7:15 in Ms. Hendrix room.

 

Guitar Club will meet this Friday, April 26th.  The last meeting will be Monday, April 29th.  If you are a guitar club member in previous years or a staff member who plays guitar you are invited to join us on Monday to share your music after school in Rm 120

 

MineCraft The next Learn to Mod in MineCraft Club will start on Friday, April 26th. Students who are interested may stop by the office or Mr. Moulen’s room for a flier and permission form. 

 

Skate Night:  Our PTO sponsored Skate night is this Friday night at Happy Wheels!  The time is 5:30-7:30, and the cost is $6.50 includes skates (in-line are extra).

 

Dodge Ball:  Dodge ball will be starting for 5th & 6th grade boys and girls on Tuesday, April 30th, and run for 12 sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 - 4:00 p.m.  You can pick up permission forms in the main office. First come, first serve

 

PAWSitive Club:  A reminder that the spring session of PAWSitive Club does not meet this week, but will meet this week because of conferences.  The next meeting will be May 9th.

 

Wiffle Ball:  Wiffle ball will be starting for our 5th & 6th grade boys and girls on Monday, April 29th, running for 12 sessions on Mondays and Fridays from 2:45 - 4:00 p.m.  You can pick up permission forms in the main office. First come, first serve

 

Trivia Night:  Attention 5th and 6th graders. On Friday, May 3rd you are invited to a night of trivia. Create a team of 2-4 people and compete for Aroma Joe’s gift cards. Details and a team sign-up has been sent to your email.

 

Band and Chorus Info: 

 

Band and Chorus Students if you are in need of concert clothes for upcoming concerts, Please see Mrs Boucher in room 208. She may be able to assist.

 

5th Grade Band: Beginning the week of 3/25, band students will have sectionals, instead of full band, on the following days: Trombone/Flute (MONDAY); Clarinet/Saxophone (WEDNESDAY); Trumpet/Percussion (FRIDAY) **Please maintain your music class day for the rest of the year! Beckwith/Larose (MONDAYS), Fortin/Mawhinney (TUESDAYS), Bradbury/Freund (THURSDAYS), Pecoraro/Trace (FRIDAYS

 

MLTI Laptop Video:  For those parents who were not able to attend the laptop meeting, please click on the parent resource tab on our home page and click on WMS Laptop Meeting Video.  After watching the video, please call us so that you can check in with Principal Wood regarding the video.
