Good Morning!! Today is a White Day  


Late Bus:  Late bus is available to students Mon-Tues-Thurs & Friday and leaves WMS at approximately 4:05.  Students have to have a late bus pass from a staff member, or coach to ride the late bus. 


Leadership Club: We’re back…...Starting next Monday, September 9th, from 2:45 - 4:00 p.m. in Mr. Moulen’s room, we will be starting another year of fun, fundraising and adventure. If you want to know more about the purpose of our club, you can speak to Mrs. Dugas in the office, or Mr. Moulen in the steam room,A205. Builder’s Club: Interested in community service? Consider joining


Builders Club! There will be an informational meeting on Thursday Sept 12 afterschool in Mrs. Boucher’s room, C208. We will be discussing the schedule and plans for the upcoming year!! If you can’t attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Boucher.

Fall Picture Day:  Wednesday, September 11th, is fall picture day.  Forms have gone home with students.  You can either have your child return the form with the EXACT amount either in cash or check payable to Lifetouch (these are given to the photographer on picture day) or you can also order online at any time using the code LG389116Q0 at  This year, Lifetouch is working in conjunction with Shutterfly.  If you order online, you get a free 8x8 photo book and a drawstring backpack for your student on


6th - 8th Grade Open House:  Open house for 6th through 8th grade students will take place on Thursday, September 12th, at 6:00 p.m. 


Summer Reading Bingo cards can be turned into the library until Friday, September 13th. The library be in touch about a celebration soon after.


Healthy snacks are provided for our students each day at 9:00 every morning.  This is provided through our Fresh Fruit and Veggie Program. It is funded by a grant from USDA based on the percentage of free and reduced eligibility. We serve a snack of fresh fruit or vegetables daily Monday through Thursday. 5th Grade Band Students and Parents:  Please note that instruments will not be needed for classes until the week of September 16th.  Please join us for the 5th grade band open house on Saturday, September 14th.  You can drop in any time between 8-11 a.m. and get your first lesson, set up an instrument rental, learn about SmartMusic, and purchase a book or needed supplies!  Please email Mrs. Smith at if you have any questions!

6th-8th Grade Band News:  SmartMusic is changing its format this year!!!  We will be converting to the new SmartMusic for assignment practice, completion, and submission.  This new format is WEB BASED and can be completed on a school issued laptop, and/or devices at home like Chromebooks, iPads, laptops, and computers.  Please do not renew your classic subscription and wait for directions from Mrs. Smith about how to set up NEW SmartMusic.   Can’t wait to have you in class again!!

Sports News:  We are continuing to have sports sign-ups for the next few days.  There are sign up sheets and sports paperwork in the office. Please make sure you have an up-to-date physical on file with our nurse if you plan on participating in our fall sports.  Offerings for the fall are soccer, field hockey and cross country.  


Cross Country:  Are you interested in running Cross Country Track this Fall? Our first meeting is on Tuesday 9/10. Please come to A111 when walkers are dismissed and be ready to have some fun!


Planned Absence Form:  Students that are traveling for 3 or more days outside school vacation times need to fill out a Planned Absence form.  This gives teachers, the attendance secretary and administrators notice that that child will be away and also let them know about how they will make up work.  Please click here for a form.
