Good Morning!! Today is Friday, November 15th.  It is a White Day    


Lit Lab is closed today. 


Pawsitive Club: Will meet today after school in Ms. Nash’s room.


6th Grade Band & Chorus students:  Honors’ auditions will be today after school. 


Last Skate Night: Tonight from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. This is for WMS students only. Cost is $6.50 at the door, $2.00 more for in-line skates.


Jazz Band:  Will meet on Monday at 7:00 a.m. in the band room.


Leadership Club:  Will meet on Monday after school in Mr. Moulen's room.


Kaleidoscope Club:  Will meet on Monday after school in Mr. Allshouse’s room.


5th Grade Math Team:  Will meet on Monday after school with Mrs. Bradbury


Student Council is hosting a food drive next week for our WMS Falcon’s Nest!! 

The homeroom with the most food by Friday, November 22nd will earn a lunch on us….., A NICE HOT CHEESY DELICIOUS PIZZA. MMMMM. Please look for the boxes in your classroom on Monday! A flyer will be handed out by the end of day to Homeroom teachers regarding what items Falcon’s Nest is looking for.


November is National Diabetes Awareness month and today is World Diabetes Day- to learn more about Diabetes please check out Nurse Simmons door.


5th Grade Band News:  The 5th grade band students will have three full band practices to prepare for our upcoming concert on December 16th.  Students will need to have their instruments here on Monday, Dec 2nd, Monday, Dec. 9th, and Monday, Dec 16th. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS and help students remember their instruments!!


Attention 8th graders:  Open House for Winter Percussion is on November 25th from 5-6:30 p.m. in the WHS Band Room (enter on the Vocational Drive side of the building).


WMS Band and Chorus students:  We have a concert dress code that we would like everyone to follow.  If you have financial need, please see Mrs. Boucher at the Falcon’s Nest and she can help!  Email her at or you can email Mrs. Smith ( or Mrs. Andrade ( and we will help.  Our dress code is:  white tops, black bottoms, boys can wear any color tie, and girls must have legs and shoulders entirely covered.  


Our Scholastic Book Fair:  Our book fair starts today - Nov. 14th.  Check our our Scholastic Arctic Adventure Book Fair!  There is SNOW much to read!  New this year is eWallet which offers an easy, cash-free opportunity for your child to shop.  Thanks in advance for your support!  ( Book Fair


WMS Band and Chorus Concert Dates


Grades 7 and 8 Winter Concert:  Monday, December 9th at 7 p.m.

Grade 6 Winter Concert: Tuesday, December 10th at 7 p.m.

Grade 5 Winter Concert:  Monday, December 16th at 7 p.m. 


Sports News: 


Winter 1 sports:  Try-outs for basketball & cheering will continue today.  The tryout schedule for today will be as follows, all sessions are mandatory:


Girls' Basketball: 3:00 - 4:30 pm

7th Grade Boys' Basketball: 4:30 - 6:00 pm

8th Grade Boys' Basketball:  6:00 - 7:30 pm

Cheering: 2:45 - 4:00 pm in the caf.  Please be dismissed with 1st floor bus students. 


WMS Yearbooks: are now on sale. Please order online from LifeTouch using code: 11037520. Soft cover yearbooks cost $18. You can choose a hardcover upgrade for an additional $6. Adding your name on the front will cost an additional $5.  Click here for Yearbook Flyer 


Falcon's Nest:  Falcon's Nest is up and running for the second year!! The Falcon's Nest is able to offer snacks/ food, clothing, shoes, school supplies and toiletries to students. Community support is appreciated to keep the shelves full. Snacks (no nut items), school supplies and toiletries are welcomed anytime and can be dropped off in the main office. For clothing donations, our space is limited and needs vary from season to season, please contact Amie Boucher at prior to clothing donations. Thank You!!!"  As the weather starts to get cooler, please consider donating sweatshirts to the Falcon's Nest. The supply is getting low and we are in need of sizes youth large through adult x-large. Please be mindful when donating that these sweatshirts are for middle schoolers. Thank you!!!"


Planned Absence Form:  Students that are traveling for 3 or more days outside school vacation times need to fill out a Planned Absence form.  This gives teachers, the attendance secretary and administrators notice that that child will be away and also let them know about how they will make up work.  Please click here for a form.

Late Bus:  Late bus is available to students Mon-Tues-Thurs & Friday and leaves WMS at approximately 4:05.  Students have to have a late bus pass from a staff member, or coach to ride the late bus.
