Student Council: The WMS Food Drive for Falcon’s Nest hosted by Student Council is officially over! Thank you for all that participated and are making a difference in our community. The Homeroom with the most items will be announced as soon as the counting is done! Thanks again!
Yankee Candles: Our Yankee Candles are in!! If you have an order small enough to be sent home with your student, please have them come to the office to pick it up. If your order is a larger one, then you will have to pick it up as the students will not be able to bring it on the bus. You may come pick it up any time during the school day.
Jazz Band: Will meet on Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. in the band room
Chorus reminder: A reminder that 6th grade chorus will be meeting during intervention on Monday.
Leadership Club: Will meet on Monday after school with Mr. Moulen.
5th Grade Math Games Club: Will meet on Monday after school with Mrs. James.
Kaleidoscope Club: Will meet on Monday after school in Mr. Allshouse’s room.
Library News: Author Jennifer Holm will by SKYPING with us on November 25th during Flex Block! Best known for her Babymouse and Sunny Side Up graphic novels, Jenni is a Newbery Honor author and writes a variety of genres (historical, realistic, science fiction). I'm sure she will connect with our students! She is interested in answering your questions so if you can come up with a good one, stop by the library to sign up to ask it!
Attention 8th graders: Open House for Winter Percussion is on November 25th from 5-6:30 p.m. in the WHS Band Room (enter on the Vocational Drive side of the building).
Attention all band and chorus students: Your wreath sale fundraising packets are due on Monday, November 25th, to Mrs. Andrade or Mrs. Smith!
5th Grade Band News: The 5th grade band students will have three full band practices to prepare for our upcoming concert on December 16th. Students will need to have their instruments here on Monday, Dec 2nd, Monday, Dec. 9th, and Monday, Dec 16th. PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS and help students remember their instruments!!
WMS Band and Chorus students: We have a concert dress code that we would like everyone to follow. If you have financial need, please see Mrs. Boucher at the Falcon’s Nest and she can help! Email her at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can email Mrs. Smith (email@example.com) or Mrs. Andrade (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will help. Our dress code is: white tops, black bottoms, boys can wear any color tie, and girls must have legs and shoulders entirely covered.

Grade 6 Winter Concert: Tuesday, December 10th at 7 p.m.
Grade 5 Winter Concert: Monday, December 16th at 7 p.m.

Girls' Basketball: 3:00 - 4:30 pm
7th Grade Boys' Basketball: 6:00 - 7:30 pm
8th Grade Boys' Basketball: 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Cheering: 2:45 - 4:00 pm. Please come down with 1st floor bus and meet your coach in the caf.
Winter I sport pictures will be taken today after school. All athletes must stay today to have their picture taken with their team. 7th and 8th grade boys will then have to go home and return for their practice. A reminder that students with later practices must go home and return at their practice time. They cannot stay on school grounds to wait for their practice unless their practice is directly after school, or they have made an arrangement with a coach or other staff member.

Falcon's Nest: Falcon's Nest is up and running for the second year!! The Falcon's Nest is able to offer snacks/ food, clothing, shoes, school supplies and toiletries to students. Community support is appreciated to keep the shelves full. Snacks (no nut items), school supplies and toiletries are welcomed anytime and can be dropped off in the main office. For clothing donations, our space is limited and needs vary from season to season, please contact Amie Boucher at email@example.com prior to clothing donations. Thank You!!!" As the weather starts to get cooler, please consider donating sweatshirts to the Falcon's Nest. The supply is getting low and we are in need of sizes youth large through adult x-large. Please be mindful when donating that these sweatshirts are for middle schoolers. Thank you!!!"
Planned Absence Form: Students that are traveling for 3 or more days outside school vacation times need to fill out a Planned Absence form. This gives teachers, the attendance secretary and administrators notice that that child will be away and also let them know about how they will make up work. Please click here for a form.

Late Bus: Late bus is available to students Mon-Tues-Thurs & Friday and leaves WMS at approximately 4:05. Students have to have a late bus pass from a staff member, or coach to ride the late bus.
