PAWSitive Club: Will meet today after school on in Ms. Nash’s room. This is the first meeting for the spring session. A list of all the students in the spring session is posted outside of Ms. Nash’s room.
Spring Pawsitive Club Members will have their yearbook picture taken on Thursday, March 12th, in the first floor common area directly after announcements
Guitar Club will start on Monday and meet for 12 Mondays through June 8th. Permission slips are available in the office and must be turned in by today. See Ms.Trace or Mr. Spring if you have any questions.
Student Council Penny Drive: It's that time of year for the Penny Drive! March 2nd - March 20th. The Penny Drive is a 3 week fundraiser where homerooms/ classrooms collect money that will go to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society to help children and adults with blood cancers. It's called a "Penny" drive but kids are encouraged to bring any type of change or cash in to donate. Student Council has delivered the boxes to your homeroom. We also gave each classroom a poster to keep track of the money that you raise. You can set a goal as a class. The homeroom that donates the most money in the school will be awarded with lunch. Mrs Droge’s class is currently in the lead!!
Maine Spirit Week is coming! Which US state borders only one other state? Which US state is the only state with a one syllable name? That’s right, it’s Maine! Our state is a special place, and on March 15th, Maine turns 200 years old.Join us in celebrating Maine’s Bicentennial by participating in our Spirit Week. Monday is “First to See the Sun”. Where sunglasses, sun hats, bright or neon colors.
Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassadors will have their yearbook picture taken on Wednesday, March 11 directly after announcements in the first floor common area. This picture is for this year’s ambassadors, only.

Jazz Band: Will meet on Monday morning at 7:00 - 7:40 a.m. with Mrs. Smith.

Yearbooks: are now on sale. Please order online from LifeTouch using code: 11037520. Soft cover yearbooks cost $18. You can choose a hardcover upgrade for an additional $6. Adding your name on the front will cost an additional $5. Flyers have been sent home electronically, but if you want a paper copy, please come down to the office to pick one up.

Planned Absence Form: Students that are traveling for 3 or more days outside school vacation times need to fill out a Planned Absence form. This gives teachers, the attendance secretary and administrators notice that that child will be away and also let them know about how they will make up work. Please click here for a form.

Late Bus: Late bus is available to students Mon-Tues-Thurs & Friday and leaves WMS at approximately 4:05. Students have to have a late bus pass from a staff member, or coach to ride the late bus.
