June 28, 2021 ~ Announcements

Good Morning!

School's out for summer!

If you have not dropped off your child's laptop (including hot spots and chargers), you can still drop it off at the middle school from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday this week and next.

Any 8th grade RBC student that did not attend the promotion ceremonies, there is a t-shirt and your promotion certificate here at the middle school. You can pick it up between 8 & 3 Monday through Thursday this week. Shirts will be sent to the high school after that to be distributed next fall.

Ireland Trip - April 2022: Sponsored by the WMS Leadership Club: This is the final call for our Early Enrollment Discount of $100 off our trip to The Emerald Isle and signing up now will give students an additional 2 months to pay than they would if they wait until the fall. Find tour details and a link to sign up here: https://www.eftours.com/tour-website/2427007CM. EF's Traveler Support Team is also available by phone at 800-665-5364. For any families who are still on the fence, I want to highlight a few of the reasons I decided to organize this tour with EF:

  • Their payment options help make the tour affordable for more families (and you get a TON for your money)

  • They've been doing this for over 50 years, and they have offices and staff all around the world—so they'll be there if we need them.

  • They're an accredited school, not a travel agent!

  • In order to give you additional flexibility, anyone that enrolls now will have the ability to change their mind and receive a full refund until August 1st, 2021.

I know this trip will be an invaluable experience for your child that will have such a positive impact on their personal and academic development. As a staff member, it will be one of the highlights of my year. Please enroll your child today, and contact us with any questions.

Sincerely, Junie Dugas & Stephen Moulen - Leadership Club Advisors

Please join me in recognizing two holidays this weekend. Saturday is Juneteenth, a newly established national holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Happy Father’s Day on Sunday to all dads, grandfathers, and other special men in our community.

Have a wonderful relaxing summer vacation! Be sure to spend time outdoors, enjoy your family and friends, take on new adventures, and read every day.

Take care, stay healthy, and be strong!
