Ireland Trip - April 2022: Sponsored by the WMS Leadership Club: Just a reminder that there are less than 10 spots on the bus left for our upcoming trip, The Emerald Isle. Find tour details and a link to sign up here: EF's Traveler Support Team is also available by phone at 800-665-5364. For any families who are still on the fence, I want to highlight a few of the reasons I decided to organize this tour with EF:

  • Their payment options help make the tour affordable for more families (and you get a TON for your money)

  • They've been doing this for over 50 years, and they have offices and staff all around the world—so they'll be there if we need them.

  • They're an accredited school, not a travel agent!

  • In order to give you additional flexibility, anyone that enrolls now will have the ability to change their mind and receive a full refund until August 1st, 2021.

I know this trip will be an invaluable experience for your child that will have such a positive impact on their personal and academic development. As a staff member, it will be one of the highlights of my year. Please enroll your child today, and contact us with any questions.

Sincerely, Junie Dugas & Stephen Moulen - Leadership Club Advisors

The Westbrook Middle School Civil Rights Team would like to say that we are very saddened and discouraged by the recent anti-Asian events that have occurred locally and nationally. Within the past few days, multiple people of Asian descent have been harassed in the Greater Portland area, and several Asian-Americans were killed in Georgia. These acts are hurtful and unacceptable.

All members of different ethnicities and ancestries have a special place in this country, and harmful acts towards people of varying cultures undermines the safety and security of all groups. The WMS Civil Rights Team would like to send thoughts of care and support to the members of the Asian community who have been affected by recent violence and harassment, and we pledge to continue our work of educating the WMS community about the importance of tolerance and unity

Thursday Folders are a great way to stay informed!
